more: Turkey VultureI went out to a path leading into the scrub out back to look for birds. But, instead I was scalded loudly by a squirrel in a large pine tree. He not only warned me, but most of the wildlife to stay away. I head a few birds in the distance, but all was quiet until I heard the swooping of wings just above and behind me. One of the vultures came in for a closer look ... real close. I didn't get a shot of it. But, then, its friends came quickly to have a more distant look. This is one of the vultures that circled above me for awhile. They probably thought I was going to fall prey to one of the mean wild pigs I heard just beyond me on the path. LOL!
