Small groups (perhaps herd fragments) were dotted around the mouth of the canyon today. Bulls not ready to let go of the rut were conquering new partners, mothers were worrying after wandering adolescents (calling back and forth), and humans were enjoying the sights.

A beautiful morning to take 5 extra minutes to enjoy Elk in colors.
