Lone female sheep, close to Golden

I never expected to see a sheep so close in to Golden. She was up on the hill on open space that was likely part of the Clear Creek Canyon Park. She kept so still for so long I half wondered if she was a decoy, but no ... she finally relaxed her guard and stooped to graze. Beautiful, and made me stop/check put the rugged train (e.x mining area?) that is this park.

Nice to be able to pop up 6 and encounter sheep so close.
