  <description>I was on my way to catch a bus to work, as I was driving on US36 southbound approaching Table Mesa.  I noticed the road kill on the side of the road and I thought it was being attended to by a very large raven.  Growing up in Alaska, I have frequently seen ravens picking over road kill.  However, as I quickly approached the spot, I realized that it was in fact a single vulture, with a red head.  I wish that I had time to stop and observe, but alas I was past it in an instant.  I've never seen a real vulture in the wild before - if eating road kill by the side of the highway can be called wild...</description>
