I noticed the road kill on the side of the road and I thought it was being attended to by a very large raven. Growing up in Alaska, I have frequently seen ravens picking over road kill. However, as I quickly approached the spot, I realized that it was in fact a single vulture, with a red head. I wish that I had time to stop and observe, but alas I was past it in an instant.
