Wild Iris in the Meadow

Wild Iris (Iris missouriensis)is a sign that spring has arrived in our neighborhood. As time passes, we see more of these each year in our meadow area. I think their blue-purple color is a nice contrast with all of the yellow wildflowers that appear in our forest this time of year.
