Western Blue Flax at Wonderland Creek

Western Blue Flax (linum lewisii) is common on roadsides all over Boulder. These were spotted on the Wonderland Creek Trail off of 28th Street and Palo Park. Historically, flax fibers have been made to make linen fabrics.
